We did it again! Travel and Leisure Magazine released the rankings of their "Americas Favorite Cities" Survey, and once again, the Charleston Farmers Market graces the top of the rankings at #5 in the nation (2009)!  This just in: Charleston Farmers Market at the Top of the rankings at #3 (2010)!

WELCOME TO MELT.  Melt offers gourmet open face sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dessert made with fresh, local & artisan ingredients, supporting local producers & purveyors. Choose from the menu or build your own.  Please note that the menu is changed weekly on Friday, a day before the Market.  All menus viewed between Sunday and Thursday are last weeks menu!

Thank you for all of your support in the 2010 year.  Our customer base continues to grow thanks to all of you Melt maniacs out there.  Please look for us in the Spring 2011 issue of Southern Living!

Melt is now officially South Carolina Certified with "Fresh on the Menu".  This means that, at least, 25% of a menu is composed of local certified South Carolina products.  Melt has been using over 75% of local product on the menu since we first opened our business!  Now we are official participants in the Certified SC Grown Fresh on the Menu Program; supporting our SC local agricultural communities.

The organizers of the Charleston Farmers Market had a bit of a bumpy start this year in their attempts to get the market ready for the Spring.  Unfortunately, the result was that Melt had to decline to do the market this year, but we may be back next year!  Meanwhile, join us on our newest venture:  the Charleston Pickle Company!  You can find us at: Charlestonpicklecompany.com and many local restuarants in the Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, John's Island & James Island areas!

For more information, please email: meltinfo@meltcharleston.com or nathan@charlestonpicklecompany.com. You can also find us on Facebook on our Charleston Pickle Company page... be sure to "like" us to find out all about us.   Thanks!

What does the City Paper think of Melt?  "We hope a permanent storefront is somewhere in their future."
